Cultural Competence Development

• We apply five steps to enhance the level of cultural competence: starting with creating cultural awareness, building on cultural understanding, practising intercultural skills, designing intercultural strategies and developing intercultural competencies.
• The Mapping-Bridging-Integrating approach helps structuring our workshops: where understanding (from mapping) and communicating (from bridging) get converted into productive results (from integrating).
• We use a range of assessments to increase self-awareness e.g., preferred cultural action type and the impact on communication, preferred  style of working and the impact on practices, or your readiness for leading intercultural interactions through intercultural competencies.

Effective intercultural communication

This 2-session course is suitable for professionals and managers who want to improve their communication with culturally diverse people in the workplace and community.

Cultural Awareness and Intercultural Understanding

Courses run over 2 sessions of 2.5-hours

Aligning practices for working in multicultural teams

This 3-session course is suitable for professionals and managers who want to realign practices and skills to improve intercultural interactions in multicultural (virtual) teams.

Intercultural Understanding and Intercultural Skills

Courses run over 3 sessions of 2.5-hours

This 4-session course is suitable for people who want to develop cultural competence to better align practices, skills, strategies and solutions to manage outcomes among people.

Intercultural Strategies and Cultural Competence

Courses run over 4 sessions of 2.5-hours.

Practicalities:

• Live virtual training workshops run over (a number of) 2.5-hour sessions using platforms such as MS Teams, Zoom, WebEx, Skype, etc.

• We prefer working with small groups – with access to a camera and microphone – to enhance interactions and engagement between facilitator and participants, and participants amongst each other.

• Participants are asked to complete some pre-work, and have soft copy training materials and activities at hand to work with during sessions.
